I've worked in the Olympia, Washington community as a therapist and educator for over 20 years. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Child Mental Health Specialist, Level 2-trained IFS therapist, and also have specialized training in working with survivors of sexual assault, trauma, and postpartum depression. As a licensed family therapist, I work with individual adults and teens, as well as with families. For families with younger children, I focus on working with parents, since they are the biggest change agents in their children's lives. I also  offer classes and coaching services for parents. With 12 years experience as a public school teacher, and as the parent of a child with special needs, I understand the demands of the school environment for kids with social, learning and behavioral challenges.
